Los Tucanes Restaurant
Located next to the hotel's outdoor Jacuzzi, the 86 seat Los Tucanes restaurant is Tabacon's option for fine dining in the rainforest. Our open-air facilities are surrounded by manicured gardens and primary forest, and offer a vantage point for volcano viewing. The restaurant offers a wide selection of international wines and liqueurs. The setting is not formal, but guests tend to dress up for dinner, typically sporting a business-casual look. Nights, particularly between November and March can be in the cool side, so a light sweater or long sleeves are recommended.
Tabacon's Restaurant
Tabacon's Restaurant in the Hot Springs Resort Area offers an international blend of styles and tastes to hotel guests and day visitors. The unique combination of talents originating from Costa Rica, Mexico, Egipto and Venezuela provides guests with the opportunity to taste a different themed buffet every night and to sample a varied and enticing lunch menu.
Arenal Bar
Costa Rica's first swim up bar serving guests in a natural spring-fed 39 C degree (100 F) pool is still the country's best. Lively Latin and international music creates a festive atmosphere, where hotel guests and day visitors enjoy the cold eagles (Costa Rica's nickname for Imperial, the most popular local beer), a wide range of tropical fresh fruit drinks, or a variety of international classic cocktails and many local creations.
Favorite ingredients used in the Arenal Bar include fresh cut San Carlos pineapple, sweet papaya, juicy watermelon and mangoes in season. A long list of classic and nouvelle cocktails is headed by favorites like mojitos, Pina Coladas, our own Costa Rican Delight, Margaritas and Daiquiris.
Ave del Paraiso
