Amangani is located in the southern half of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem – a huge expanse of Mountains, meadows, wilderness, sage flats, streams and rivers.in the winter, abundant snowfall blankets the valley creating a natural playground. Though some animals hibernate for the winter, bison, elk, moose, mule deer, and wolves descend into the valley seeking food and shelter from the long Wyoming winter. In the summer, warm days and cool nights can be expected. Mountain and valley hiking trails wind through a world dressed in wildflowers. Wildlife abounds, from bison to elk, mule deer, moose, pronghorn antelope, grizzly and black bears, coyotes, wolves and more. Within this rich and varied ecosystem, activities are limitless.
